Departmental Orientation
In addition to the college orientation, several instructional departments and support programs require an additional orientation
and/or application procedures to familiarize students to the services, procedures and policies of the department or program.
Contact the department or program for directions to complete their orientation requirement. Attendance at a department or
program orientation does not clear the Orientation Registration Hold placed on students for whom the college orientation is
required. Students will still need to complete the college orientation through one of the above options. However, students
may need to complete the departmental orientation to enroll in the department's courses.
Some individual classes, such as Life Fitness or Distance Education classes, require an orientation to the class before you
can begin coursework. Contact the instructors for more information on how to complete course-specific orientations.
