Association of Confidential Employees
Welcome to the Association of Confidential Employees (ACE).
Confidential employees are individuals whose duties involve developing or representing management positions regarding employer-employee relations, or who routinely have access to confidential information that contributes significantly to the development of management positions related to negotiations.
As of 2026, ACE includes ten employees serving in designated confidential positions across several departments, including Human Resources; the Office of the Superintendent/President and Board of Trustees; and the offices of the Assistant Superintendent/Vice Presidents.
ACE selects a Chair to serve as its lead representative within the college community. The Chair generally serves a one-year term, unless otherwise determined by ACE.
As confidential employees, ACE meets and confers with the Superintendent/President or designee regarding ACE-related matters and terms of agreement.
