She's top setter in Cascade Conference
It didn't take long for former SBCC volleyball star Kelsey Soos to make an impact
at the Ccllege of Idaho.
Soos, the 2010 WSC North MVP on the Vaqueros' conference championship squad, has
been named Setter of the Week in the Cascade Conference for six straight weeks. It's
the first time any College of Idaho athlete has won the conference award more than
five times in a row. The Yotes are 13-1 and ranked No. 7 in the NAIA. They're first
in the conference at 9-0.
Soos, a junior from Santa Ynez High, helped COI to big wins over Eastern Oregon and
Westminster, recording 50 assists in a first-place showdown with EOC and 41 vs. Westminster.
She leads the Cascade Conference in assists per set (11.04) and is second on the team
in aces (15).
