The Fall Semester in Madrid Program is open to students who are at least 18 years of age by the departure date to Madrid. One semester of Spanish is recommended but not required. You do not have to be a Spanish, English or ARt major.
If you are currently enrolled at another school, you must enroll at SBCC for the Fall Semester of 2018 after you have been accepted into the program. You are required to attend an orientation meeting scheduled in August. Additional meetings may be required. A twenty-student minimum is required or the program is subject to cancellation.
You must have successfully completed 12 college-level units including ENG110 (Composition and Reading) by the start time of the program.
Submit your completed application with application fee to the Study Abroad Office before or by the deadline. This includes a Student Conduct Release Form completed by your institution's appropriate official (Dean of Student Affairs if you are at SBCC) and two recommendation forms. See application for all forms.
