Allied Health and Nursing Laboratory History

The Allied Health and Nursing Laboratory (AHNL) is located on the SBCC East Campus in the Administration Building in A-277. It was completed in Fall of 1999. Most of the nursing and medical equipment was purchased at that time with funds generously provided by the Santa Barbara Cottage Health Foundation.

Students and faculty from a variety of health programs use the AHNL. These programs include the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Vocational Nursing (VN), Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide Program (CNA/HHA), and Radiographic and Imaging Sciences (RT). RNs and LVNs in the community can use the AHNL by registering in the course NURS 194- Review and Update of Nursing.
