ATI TEAS Information
Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS)
The TEAS exam is required as part of the application process. You must take the TEAS and have results (minimum score 62%) submitted as part of a completed application. We will accept only official results, submitted to SBCC directly from ATI. The current version is ATI TEAS. TEAS V will be accepted through May 31, 2018; beginning June 1, 2018 only ATI TEAS will be accepted.
If multiple ATI TEAS tests have been taken in the past year (365 days), the first score from that time period is the only score that can be accepted. IF a student does not score a minimum overall score of 62%, they must show evidence of having completed a remediation plan in order to retest within that same year.
The ATI TEAS (current version) is offered at SBCC free of charge to applicants on a first come, first served basis. The dates will be posted on this site twice per year. You should register early to secure a testing date. Once all spots are filled, you will be responsible for taking the TEAS exam at another testing center and at your own expense. If seats become available, it will be noted on this site. TEAS scores are factored into the applicant's overall points for the selection process.
SBCC TEAS testing dates:
The TEAS test will be offered at SBCC prior to the June-July 2018 application cycle. Check back to this page at the beginning of April for the next scheduled TEAS testing dates.
