SBCC's New Research Vessel for New Marine Technology Programs

Davis Boats of Paso Robles, CA and SBCC have custom designed a new 25' diving and marine technology research vessel with state-of-the-art marine electronics and sampling equipment.

Since 1968 Santa Barbara City College has committed itself to leading the field of marine technology throughout California and the nation with accessible and affordable programs.

SBCC's new vessel will allow for ease of transport from the Pacific Ocean to local waterways throughout California in support of short-term specialized marine courses and programs.

The aft deck will be fitted with an A-Frame to faciliate trawls, sonar tows and other data acquisition operations.
