The Office of Institutional Advancement, Research and Planning (IARP), created in September 1999, reports to the Superintendent/President of Santa Barbara City College, John Romo. IARP serves Santa Barbara City College by providing information and sound research about its students, faculty, staff, and programs in order to enhance decision making, problem-solving, planning, policy review, and institutional assessment.
