Registration Dates 


Each student is assigned a unique appointment date & time as the earliest time that you can register for classes. To get your date & time, go to http://pipeline.sbcc.edu, click on 'Registration', then on 'Check for Pre-Registration Requirements and Registration Appointment.' Register online on or after your Appointment date & time by going to http://pipeline.sbcc.edu and selecting 'Registration', then 'Register, Add or Drop Classes.'

**Please Note** Students may register online at anytime on or after their Appointment date & time. Take advantage of your Priority Registration Date!

 

Summer and Fall 2014 Registration Dates

Effective Spring 2013, SBCC has implemented revised procedures for enrollment priorities consistent with the recommendations from the Board of Governors Student Success Task Force. The enrollment priorities are defined in Administrative Procedure 5055.

April 17 May 6 Eligible* Currently Enrolled First Semester students who are not on academic or progress probation for two consecutive terms or has earned 100 or more degree applicable units
April 21 May 19 Eligible* New to College students who are local high school graduates except those with an educational goal of Personal Enrichment who have met Local High School Seniors Priority Enrollment requirements
April 22 May 27 Eligible* New to College students who have completed orientation, assessment and advising including a student education plan
April 22 May 27 Students enrolled in the SBCC Middle College Program and who are not on academic or progress probation for two consecutive terms or has earned 100 or more degree applicable units

 

April 23 June 2 New Transfer and Returning Students except those with an educational goal of Personal Enrichment who have met pre-registration requirements and who are not on academic or progress probation for two consecutive terms or has earned 100 or more degree applicable units
May 15 July 10 Students with an educational goal of Personal Enrichment and/or those students who have lost their priority enrollment**
May 19 July 14 Open Registration, including Dual Enrollment Students

In very rare cases, a student who has completed over 100 degree applicable units at SBCC may be eligible to Petition for Reinstatement of Priority Enrollment.

*Eligible is defined as having completed orientation, assessment and developed education plans.

**Loss of enrollment priority shall occur at the first registration opportunity after a student:

  • Is placed on academic or progress probation or any combination thereof as defined in BP and AP 4250 titled Probation for two consecutive terms; or
  • Has earned one hundred (100) or more degree-applicable semester units at the District

Spring 2014 Registration Dates

1. Eligible EOPS, DSPS, CalWORKS, veterans,
    current and former foster youth up to age 24 
November 12
2. Eligible continuing students who have completed 100
    or fewer units at SBCC (excluding ESL and Basic Skills)
November 13
3. Eligible currently enrolled first semester students November 20
4. Eligible new to college local high school graduates December 2
5. Eligible new, new transfer, and returning students                                   December 4

6. Personal Enrichment students and students who have completed
    over 100 units at SBCC (excluding ESL and Basic Skills)*

December 13
7. Open registration, including dual enrollment students December 16
