Welcome to Dual Enrollment
The Santa Barbara City College (SBCC) Dual Enrollment Program consists of college classes offered at our local high school sites and as well as enrollment opportunities for high school students interested in taking a class at our main SBCC campus or online. This website will provide you with an overview of enrollment procedures and frequently asked questions to help you enroll as a Dual Enrollment student. We believe that participating in this program will ease the transition from high school to college and encourage you to keep pursuing postsecondary education. This program is a true win-win for the high school, SBCC, parents, and most importantly the students. Welcome to our program!

** ATTENTION: Open Enrollment for Summer 2012 begins on Monday, May 21st. Please make sure you have all of your Dual Enrollment paperwork completed and submitted to the Admissions Office prior to that day.
Important Dates for Spring 2012/Summer 2012 Semester:
May 12: Last Day of Instruction
May 14-19: Final Exams
May 21: First Day to Register for Dual Enrollment Students (For Summer Session)
June 18: Summer Session Begins
June (varies): Last Day to Submit Approved Add Requests, Last Day to Drop without
'W', Last Day to Drop with Eligibility for Refund of Enrollment and Tuition (See CRN
for specific deadlines)
June 22: Last Day to Petition for Pass/No Pass
July 4: Independence Day, Holiday
July (Varies): Last Day to Withdraw from Classes/College (See CRN for specific deadlines)
July 16: First Day to Register for Dual Enrollment Students (For Fall 12 Semester)
July 28: Summer Session Ends
