General Information
SBCC Continuing Education is the noncredit Continuing Education Division of Santa Barbara City College. We are dedicated to offering a comprehensive curriculum designed to meet the needs of all adults in our community. We provide strong, "open access" programs for individuals seeking to improve their earning power, literacy skills and access to higher education, as well as classes for immigrants, parents, older adults and persons with disabilities. Our community education courses, supported through tuition fees and/or donor funding, promote the pursuit of intellectual and creative endeavors, as well as physical fitness, foreign languages, field trips, cooking and special topics of community interest.
Hundreds of daytime, evening and weekend classes are offered in fall, winter, spring and terms.
