What was your favorite job?
My first official job was at Macy’s. When I was in high school I took a business course and we did an internship which eventually landed me a job there.

What was your most memorable job?
The most physically challenging job I ever had was picking apples during apple season in Templeton, CA when I was in college. I did it with a bunch of friends so even though it was hard work, it was fun.

What job wouldn’t work for you?
I could never work in an animal shelter. I’m allergic to cats.

What career did you think you would have when you were little?
I thought I would be an elementary school teacher. I’ve worked in education a long time, most of it at the college level which I enjoy very much.

What is the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Work toward what you enjoy doing.
