The Business Division at Santa Barbara City College offers opportunities to explore and prepare for many different types of careers in business. Technological changes, such as computer operations and creative financing, have demanded that employees have an even broader business background than only a few years ago.
Emphasis in Management: Management prepares a student for entry-level management positions within a wide variety of organizations. All require personnel with some business and management skills. It may also lead toward a career in management with a large firm.
