Ways to Help your Student SucceedIf your student needs help finding a job:
Send him or her to the Job Connection. New positions are posted daily, mostly local, both full and part-time jobs as well as internships and volunteer positions.
If your student is unsure about choosing a major:
Have them check out the Choosing a Major section of the website, or come to the Career Center for a drop-in counseling appointment.
If your student is exploring careers:
Suggest they do some Career Exploration with tools like What can I do with a major in . . . or EUREKA, online Career Information System, which is designed to help students explore majors, careers and educational opportunities.
