Welcome
What We Do
The Campus Bookstore provides necessary text and school supplies for an enrollment of more than 17,000 students. In addition, the store offers a wide range of discretionary items, including clothing, art supplies, general and best selling books, and software sales. The current text list may be browsed or textbooks may be purchased or rented online at www.sbccbooks.com. The store also offers a range of services to the campus community in the form of an ATM, UPS service, and fax.
The Bookstore is owned by the SBCC Community College District and all profits are directed in support of student programs and activities. These include athletics, Student Life, scholarships through the SBCC Foundation, the Library Reserve program and other projects which benefit the quality of the student experience on campus.

Refunds & Exchanges
- The refund/exchange period for textbooks ends Friday of the second week of school. The summer school refund period ends Friday of the first week of school. A receipt is required for all refunds. There are no exceptions to this policy.
- You must have also dropped the class using the text to qualify for a refund. Drops are verified and if there is no drop on record, then a refund will not be granted.
- CAUTION: Being on the wait list does not qualify as enrolled. Please do not buy any texts unless you are actually enrolled in the class. If you do purchase books while on a wait list and are then not able to get into the class, you will NOT be eligible for a refund.
-
Please see the refund policy for other information.
Buyback
-
A buyback of useable texts is conducted the first and last week of each semester. The end-of-semester buyback offers the best opportunity to recoup the considerable cost of textbooks as the buyback list reflects the need for the following semester.
