SBCC takes 2nd in WSC Supremacy

SBCC placed second in the 2009-10 Western State Conference Supremacy race with 85 points. Ventura won seven WSC titles and claimed its 17th Supremacy award with 117 points. The Pirates have won the last 10 Supremacy awards.

The Vaqueros captured WSC titles in men's soccer and women's volleyball. They racked up 38 points in nine men's sports and 47 in eight women's sports. Ventura's totals were 51 for men and 66 in nine women's sports.

Bakersfield took third with 81 points in the 15-school competition, followed by Cuesta (80.5) and Moorpark (69).
