Evaluation and Repair Tools
The best way to evaluate websites is to test using a variety of tools. Recognizing
the dynamic nature of the many web tools are available that allow the developer to
test in a variety of formats.
Keyboard access - can someone navigate a website without a mouse?
Different Browsers - web browsers can display web pages differently.
User control over presentation - can a user change a websites presentation, font style and sizes, background text and link colors.
Validation of HTML Code and/or style sheets.
Web accessibility evaluation tools are software programs or online services that help determine if a Web site meets accessibility guidelines. While Web accessibility evaluation tools can significantly reduce the time and effort to evaluate Web sites, no tool can automatically determine the accessibility of Web sites.
